... Listen to References closely for sound/quality ...

BDMED10 References (original references)

PTN Approved References (Already chosen and in the show by the Team)

  • PAY CLOSE ATTENTION: to the Tempos Being Used from the reference Cues, as well as the sound selection, Quality, and the STRUCTURE for each cue music MUST follow what we have already in place.   See Guides here for a Recap

Reference UPDATE  - Decemeber

First, A note on the References

  • Bunim has brought in new Producers (TV) who are working on the Filming and Shoots of the new seasons of BDMED 10.  So we want to keep them Happy with the NEW Music we submit.

  • These producers brought in Music choices that THEY want throughout the series.. HOWEVER, the music is dated and flat.... they want the music "updated" and sounding Better than the references provided.

  • They tried to Highlight what they want and Do NOT want from these references,

PLEASE READ the info Below carefully to make sure to not submit music containing stuff they DON'T want as it will be Rejected now that we have Bunim reps helping screen the cues before they go through..

---------------------------------------------------------------------

NEW REFERENCES

 Found HERE
  • There is a Video in the folder. This video was more for the showrunner to understand and see where and how the Producers will be using the music to picture.  I left it there to give a better understanding to you all how it is used, which most of you already get, but it always helps for context.

The below message is FROM the ShowRunner... Please read and take note:

"Now, let me preface by saying that the cues in the  link above are poor quality.   So DO NOT replicate the Quality!!

We WOULD like to replicate the:

  • Instrumentation  -

  • Arrangements  - (the structure for these they like as it keeps Building and (full)

  • keeping the production polished and the quality better.

WE Need to Also stay away from:

  • --- string plucks (for the majority of the comedy/dramedy).

Last Note From the Music Cordinator:  "These refs are honestly pretty bad and basic and garbage sounding so we are looking for Better than what is there."

  • History of these References

    • These cues are predominately from a show called - evergreen in dramedy/drama and tension/ tasking genres.
