The Folder System

Folder System

Each project will utilizes a standardized folder system (setup and Shared WITH the creator through DropBox) to ensure maximum efficiency and consistency. Every project will have it's own folder labeled by the Project ID (project initials) and follows an identical folder structure.

This is crucial, as multiple team members (including interns, project managers, and others) will be accessing these folders. By maintaining uniformity, everything is easily accessible, regardless of who is working on the project. This streamlined system reduces confusion, minimizes errors, and ensures that all files are organized in a way that supports smooth collaboration and quick retrieval of assets.

Main Folder and its Sub Folders:

Each project will consist of:

Main Project Folder  (Labeled with Project ID's Initials)

Its Contents/Sub-Folders Include:

  • Agreements    (Agreements Folder)

  • Approvals       (Main Approvals Folder)

  • Notes              (Main Notes Folder)

  • Prescreen       (Main Pre-Screen Folder)

  • Revisions        (Main Revision Folder)

  • Submissions  (Main Pre-Screen Folder)

Folder Details:

Main Project Folder:

This is the primary folder where all subfolders for the project are organized. It is named using the Project ID, which will be provided to you once you're onboarded. The subfolders within are standardized across all projects, each serving a specific function crucial to maintaining a smooth workflow. By keeping this structure consistent, we ensure that everything is easy to locate and contributes to an efficient, organized process for the entire team.

Agreements Folder:

Once a project is completed, and approved, agreements will be given, in which a signed copy should be stored here for record keeping.

Approvals Folder:

After we recieve NOTES from the CLIENT, all cues that are "approved" will have their "Deliverables" placed in this folder within it's own SubFolder titled with the Batch # for that Weeks Submissions.  -(see deliverables Tab for more info on deliverables)

Notes Folder:

This folder is designed to keep track of the NOTES that Bunim will send once they have reviewed the Submissions. It works best to keep track of these notes per Batch you submit to. It is the best method to keep track of revisions, approvals, and cues that have been PASSED on, as the Passed cues remain the ownership of the writer/creators If not accepted for the project(s).

PreScreen Folder:

After the PreScreen Phase is done, this folder will contain the "tweaked" cues according to the PreScreen NOTES  from the PreScreen Phase.  (please see the PreScreen Tab for more info).

Revisions Folder:

This folder is designated for submitting all revised cues after incorporating the requested changes based on Bunim's NOTES. To ensure clarity and organization, each subfolder within should be labeled with the corresponding "Batch #" on the folder name. This helps keep track of the project’s batch submissions, ensuring nothing gets lost and allowing for seamless follow-up on revisions.

Submissions Folder

This is and will always be the first place to submit your cues for the project(s).

  • Please NOTE:  If we/PTN are working DIRECTLY with a TV production Company, agreeemnts are ONLY distributed ONCE the Final "Schedule A" Sheet is given to PTN in which this sheet will show the FINAL Approved CUES that made the show.

  • This is done, as some cues at times do not make the FINAL Cut due to editing out minutes of chunks of the show to meet the time slots for the show, or other last minute edits, which naturally, if a cue that was approved was on that scene, then it too was removed. SO Agreements are distrubuted ONCE the production company knows for certain which cues made the Final Cut that will Air.

  • BATCH 01 - as the "Week Submission" Batch #

  • CUEs:  -  Yo Yoda & My Feels

  • Explore EACH folder to look at its Contents, how things are labled and the types of cue formats in each.

    • (Note:  The cues are Fake, so you will NOT be able to hear anything, they are made for Visual Example purpose only)
