Devinney Rexrode

Devinney Rexrode's passion for music started as a artist before blooming into a fascination with all things music business a music industry as well. From artist management, to booking coordinator, to audio engineering, to music journalism, she has honed her knowledge in different areas of music with a passion to always learn even more. 

Devinney grew up in the alternative music scene, playing drums at first before learning to play guitar, keyboard, and how to sing. She played in multiple pop punk and punk bands before the her last, a midwest emo duo. Now she plas music with her son, who also found his own love for the drums at young age. They jam together in a duo call, "The Squirtle Squad" in his playroom. 

Her main goal is to help make safe places in the industry for artists and their music as well as work with companies that have the same morals and values. She believes in growing ethical brands and safe havens, choosing to work with mostly grass roots companies. 

One of her current favorite bands is The Plot In You and her recommended must listen song is currently 'Specter' by Bad Omens."
