Víctor Herrera Calvo

Víctor Herrera Calvo is a music composer from Spain. He started learning how to play the piano at

the age of 5. With a huge passion and interest in many different kinds of music he decided to study

classical music and music theory in a professional conservatory in Spain. Improvisation and composition were always his biggest passion in music, and he soon started to develop a special link with cinematic music in his compositions.

Víctor is graduated in Economic Sciences in the University of Valladolid. He also studied 4 years of

Aerospace Engineering in the ETSIA, in Madrid. During his years at university he was learning also about orchestration techniques, orchestral and hybrid orchestral composition. He is constantly working in a music environment, with different

styles and genres, which help him offer a great quality and versatility in his compositions. Winner of numerous awards at international composition competitions, he has been recently nominated for the Orchestral Track of the Year at the PMA Mark Awards 2023.

Víctor currently works on music for media, focusing on film, TV and video games with some of the best libraries

and publishers in the industry, such as Hypersonic Music ( Universal Production Music),

Transported Audio, Infrasound Trailer Music, Maximum Volume Production Music, Music Blvd

Group and more! Additionally, Víctor is part of the demo team of composers at world-class samples library developer

8dio, providing some of the official demos for their samples libraries (both 8dio and Soundpaint).
